MARY POPPINS RETURNS

DIGITIAL OUT OF HOME

 

The famed Mary Poppins returned to our screens after 54 years, with the highly anticipated release of Mary Poppins Returns in the Christmas of 2018.

As part of a small creative team, I worked across the OOH, DOOH, digital and trade formats which flooded the seasonal advertising space leading up to the films' release. From conceptual design to final outputs for delivery, my work spanned many exciting placements, most notably digital ribbons which were a first for UK film.

MARY POPPINS RETURNS

INTERNATIONAL SOCIAL CAMPAIGN

The design for the Mary Poppins Returns social campaign required an approach which both celebrated the original film for familiar audiences, and engaged a newer audience experiencing the wonder of Mary Poppins for the first time.

Featured here are animated short videos bringing to life illustrations of the film costumes, designed to travel around a fashion designer's workspace, placing footage elements in polaroids and paper scrolls for an eccentric surprise only Mary herself could create.
